Fijian-born and California-based, Chris Tonite is more than a pioneer of Afro-Pacific House—he is a navigator of the human spirit. Having Travelled the world as a Professional DJ and a Graduating in Architecture from Osaka, Japan, his work ethic is defined by culture, soul, and embracing one’s imperfections.
”I have been through the darkness. I have known the weight of depression, pain, addiction and the moments where giving up felt easier than taking another step.
Then, I saw the light through music. It saved me when nothing else could.
If you are in that dark place right now—I see you. I’ve been you, and I’m here to tell you that you can make it through. Every set I play and every track I choose is designed to create a lasting memory—one where you remember you are strong enough to keep fighting, and keep dancing. I am not just redefining the Pacific’s place in the global dance scene; I am on a mission to use that music to save others.
This is bigger than music. We are building a community that refuses to stay down, turning pain into power. It’s about faith, hope, and pulling each other through to the other side—into the light.”
